About Netter Jacobo Ortiz, MD
Dr. Netter J. Ortiz has always been passionate about helping people. He was inspired by his late father, Dr. Roberto Ortiz Arriaga, who was dedicated and committed to the medical field. To follow in his father's footsteps, Dr. Ortiz pursued a medical degree.
He completed his medical degree at the Universidad Autonoma de Tamaulipas in Matamoros, Mexico. After that, he moved to the United States to practice medicine.
Dr. Ortiz started his internship at the Hospital Metropolitano de San German in San German, Puerto Rico, from 2017 to 2018. He then began his Residency Training in the UTRGV/Knapp Family Medicine Residency Program in Weslaco, TX, from 2018 to 2021. He is currently licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas.
